In our experiment we tested oranges to see if their shades affected the levels of vitamin C it contained. We chose 24 navel oranges and categorized them into 4 shade groups with 6 oranges in each. After that we tested them for vitamin C. Our hypothesis was that the darkest oranges contain the most vitamin C but after experimenting we discovered that the second darkest shade group actually had the most. If we do this experiment again, it will have a larger sample size and all oranges will be tested in one day to avoid any possible sources of error.
