Is it possible to make a functioning shoe insole that can generate electricity using piezoelectric transducers? The hypothesis is the insole will be able to generate 20 volts of power per step, and small amounts of current, 40 μA (micro-Amps) will be generated but it will be fragile. In the end, the insole could generate 20 volts of electricity, but 80 μA, much more current than expected. In the future, more foam could be added to increase the comfort of the insole, and the insole could be wired so it can charge a phone or power a flashlight.
